Deuteronomy 6:4 · Colossians 2:9
One God, revealed in Jesus Christ
We believe in the one living, eternal, and indivisible God. In Jesus Christ we recognize true God and true man; in Him the whole fullness of the Deity dwells bodily.
At IPUL Panama, we believe that the Bible guides faith and life. We are a Pentecostal Christian church seeking to live the gospel of Jesus Christ with clarity, hope, and service to our nation.
Our foundation
As the United Pentecostal Church of Latin America in Panama, we receive the Holy Scriptures as the only authority given by God for doctrine, faith, hope, and the instruction of the Church. We seek to read and study them under the direction of the Holy Spirit.
Apostolic faith is not a museum piece. It invites us into a living relationship with Jesus Christ and a responsible response to the needs of our families, neighborhoods, and cities.
This page summarizes only the Articles of Faith in the IPUL Manual approved by the General Assembly of Ministers; it does not replace them.
What we believe
We express our faith with humility, seeking for every conviction to be reflected in a life of obedience, compassion, and hope.
Deuteronomy 6:4 · Colossians 2:9
We believe in the one living, eternal, and indivisible God. In Jesus Christ we recognize true God and true man; in Him the whole fullness of the Deity dwells bodily.
Isaiah 55:7 · Acts 2:38
We proclaim genuine repentance, baptism by immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit as the apostolic response to the gospel.
1 Peter 1:15–16 · Hebrews 12:14
We understand holiness as a life set apart for God: a visible way to love our neighbor, act with integrity, and reflect Christ every day.
Life in the Spirit
These articles of faith guide our worship, service, and expectation of the return of Jesus Christ.
Acts 2:4 · 1 Corinthians 12:7
We believe that baptism in the Holy Spirit is initially manifested by speaking in other tongues. Its gifts are for the benefit and edification of the Church and the spread of the gospel, not for personal exaltation.
James 5:14–16 · 1 Corinthians 11:23–29
We pray in faith for those who need healing and celebrate the breaking of bread in remembrance of Christ, as an expression of fellowship and the unity of His body.
1 Thessalonians 4:13–17 · Revelation 1:7
We await the resurrection, the gathering of the Church before the great tribulation, and the personal second coming of Jesus Christ. We trust in His kingdom and His righteous final judgment.
A faith that serves Panama
Through our congregations, we seek to accompany people through prayer, biblical teaching, and service. Our Panamanian identity is expressed in a church that welcomes, listens, and works for the well-being of its communities.

Worldwide fellowship
IPUL Panama is part of the Pentecostal International Fellowship, a global community of apostolic Pentecostal churches united in faith in Jesus Christ. This fellowship strengthens our apostolic identity and our vision to bring the gospel to every nation.
