Our Faith

Apostolic Foundation

As a Christian Pentecostal church, we faithfully believe in the doctrine taught by the apostles. In a changing world, the Word of God stands firm.

  • Oneness: One God manifested in the flesh (Jesus).
  • Salvation: Repentance, Baptism in the Name of Jesus, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
  • Holiness: Living set apart from the world to please God.

What you need to know about our Christian church

What type of Christian church is IPUL Panama?

IPUL Panama is a Christian Pentecostal church. We belong to the United Pentecostal Church of Latin America, an organization with presence in over 40 countries. Our doctrine is based on the teachings of the apostles: repentance, baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. We are an evangelical church that believes in the Bible as the sole rule of faith and conduct.

Where can I find an IPUL church in Panama?

We have churches throughout Panama: Panama City, Panama West, Colón, Chiriquí, Veraguas, Coclé, Herrera, Los Santos, Bocas del Toro and Darién. You can find your nearest location on our interactive map. All our locations have regular services open to the public.

What are the service times?

At IPUL Central Panama we have services on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM (Bible Study), Fridays at 7:30 PM (Prayer Service) and Sundays at 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM (General Worship). Times may vary by location; check the map for your local church details.

Can I watch sermons live?

Yes. We stream our main services live on our YouTube channel. You can also watch previous sermons in our sermons section.

What is the difference between a Pentecostal and an Evangelical church?

Every Pentecostal church is evangelical and Christian, but not every evangelical church is Pentecostal. The main difference is that Pentecostals believe in the ongoing gifts of the Holy Spirit today, including speaking in tongues as the sign of the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4). At IPUL Panama we are Oneness Pentecostals — we baptize in the Name of Jesus Christ according to Acts 2:38.
